Detroit Lions prepare for the 2015-16 season

As the Detroit Lions enter training camp, what can we expect from the lovable furballs in the preseason?...
[dropcap]S[/dropcap]o, the Detroit Lions are back and the question we all want to know is can they be contenders?Unfortunately, it’s too early to tell with training camp starting up so they have some work to do. This is what Jim Caldwell had to say about the first day back:

“Day one and it resembled day one in some phases. We certainly weren’t quite as sharp as we would like to be, but that’s what practice is for. I do think the guys hustled and worked extremely hard. They were energetic. They were into it out there. Obviously, the first day is always a lot of excitement. We have a lot of work to do yet, but I’m looking forward to it.”

So, they had a normal fist day I believe. You can’t expect them to come out perfect, they’ve got a lot of work to do before the first preseason game with these new guys coming in and the leadership from the veterans. I know they will be just fine and the resigning of Deandre Levy for four years is a great relief before the season starts up.

Now they will be focused and ready to play.
