Can you believe the season is near an end already? A few short months ago the MVP chatter, ROTY candidates and who the best of the best upcoming head coach class would be. The outlooks since then have always been a mix of expected names and complete stunners. Yeah I’m talking about Puka Nucs. Take a read with me and hear out my predictions for the clash of gridiron excellence unfolds before us.
THE CALLS
Baltimore Ravens (-215) over Kansas City Chiefs (+185): Okay so I’ve been counting these Chiefs out for awhile, but I’m more confident it ends here than I have been in any previous selection. To me the Ravens are the Chiefs team, but better. Elite QB’s, TE’s, Pass Rush, LB’s, Kickers, etc. … A lot of talent will be on the field, but the Raven Flock will be in strong force in Baltimore willing their team to a change at the Lombardi.
Detroit Lions (+290) over San Francisco 49ers (-360): So the age old rule is don’t bet with your heart right? Well these Lions fans make it rather difficult not to join the bandwagon and maybe jump through a table for them. They just have that IT factor. That chemistry and backing that I honestly don’t think the 49ers have. On paper maybe the Lions are the underdogs, but isn’t that where they are comfortable? I have a Phelan that upset alert will be displayed on all of the viewing audience cellular devices as the Lions boom their ticket to the big dance.
Championship Caliber Calls
Lamar Jackson 265+ passing yards and 2+ passing TD’s at +398: I expect Lamar to turn to the air more than expected against a banger up secondary that KC posses. Lamar has looked like an MVP all year I think he seals the deal and has a big game all the way around.
Amon-Ra St.Brown 125+ receiving yards and 2+ Touchdowns at +1150: I sit here wondering who will be the leader of the pride as the Lions roar their way to victory may be and I look to the sun god himself. I think he rises above the occasion and puts up a stat sheet staggering stand out show.
