Day One of Welcome To Rockville came to a close as Mayday Parade closed out the Garage Stage while Guns N’ Roses played Apex Stage. I’m happy to say Mayday was able to get a really large crowd despite Guns N Roses playing at the same time, we are a dedicated fan base if I do say so myself.
Mayday played classic hits like “Jersey” and “Jamie All Over” but also played the recently released new single “Blame It On The Youth.” The band has been on a high releasing new work from records released in 2025 Sad and Sweet, leading us to know this release will also accompany a new album.
The fun upbeat tone of this new single alongside the energy of the crowd was not to be missed, as the song feels new and refreshing but also very Mayday, and in my household has already gone triple platinum.
If you haven’t kept up with Mayday Parade, I highly encourage you to give a listen to the albums that have been dropped as of last year and especially this new single.
Let us know what you think of the new Mayday music once you’ve heard it, and follow them on social media to stay up to date on festival stops, tours and new music.
