Welcome to Rockville Day Two! Quite a spicy day for us Rockvillians as we did have to evacuate for a couple hours due to Florida being well, Florida. But, we’ll get to that later, first let’s talk about music.
We started the day at Not Enough Space, which was a great way to start the day. Lots of bopping around today, as from there we headed to the Kerrang stage to see Pale Face Swiss, this was such a fun set! After, we made our way to see Winona Fighter, a must see for any festival.
We also got some shade today at the Jack Daniels tent to get some shade, and listen to some Rockvillians doing rock karaoke! As we were in the shade, we heard rock opera and followed our ears to Flesh God Apocalypse. They were so incredible to see, I would say if they’re coming to a festival or show near you to absolutely check them out.
After we bopped in between a few sets like the Hu (incredible), Hollywood Undead, as we made our way over to Apex stage for Poppy, that’s when the sky got a little dark. A minute and 28 seconds into her first song, we had to evacuate due to a severe thunderstorm in the area. We waited in the parking lot for a good while before eventually deciding to call it, as we have more days of festival to bring you along for.
What we did see today was incredible, and around 8:30pm Rockville began to allow re-entry to Rockvillians with updated set times for then remaining acts. I will say, I hope Poppy does get the chance to play tomorrow or Sunday. That’s all for day two, but we’ll see you back here tomorrow for Days Three and Four.
