Here we go again folks.

Last week proved fruitful for NFL picking and just a little off the mark in the NCAA predictions. As always this is an up and down industry, but I think we are picking up what the football gods are putting down rather quickly. Every painful upset and one point miss on the spread at a time.

Keep eyes out for a weekly TNF parlay from this week on out. I nailed it this week and haven’t missed a call yet and I perhaps somewhat greedily want the credit. Who can blame me? It’s kind of the name of my game. This week I had the Lions money line, the over, and a David Montgomery 1.5 TD Prop over.

Thank you to you Michigan fans for giving me a seat on the Lion’s bandwagon by the way. Expect some sort of similar combination in time for each TNF game. Let’s dig into these meaty matchups and fatten those wallets.

Keep reading for your weekly I Got A Phelan upsets of the week, money lines, spreads, and the always anticipated Wolverine Winner!

UPSETS OF THE WEEK

NFL PREDICTION

New England Patriots (+230) over the Dallas Cowboys (-275): After last weeks blunder against Arizona the Cowboys psyche I feel just had to be rattled. While the Patriots overcame a defensive battle against the Jets. Zach Martin in questionable and Tyron Smith is OUT. Mr.Judon is ready to feast and bring down Prescot more than once and I’m saying forced him into throwing up at least one pick. I don’t see this being overly high scoring, but Elliot is going to be running with a purpose against his former team and I feel the Patriots are coming in more fired up looking to prove they are a contender.

NCAA PREDICTION

Kansas (+545) over Texas (-725): In a clash of the unbeaten everyone is assuming the Longhorns run over the Jayhawks. I say the rock chalk Jayhawks may leave the Longhorns feeling like ground beef when this is over. Jalen Daniel’s is the best and most electrifying QB Texas has faced. With a talented multi dimensional player like him under center the punchers chance is always there. The Big 12 will feel the effects is this upset comes true.  It’s more even than y’all think across the board. The Phelan is there for me in this one.

Money Lines

Miami Dolphins (+130) over Buffalo Bills (-150): I get the Bills are the toughest test yet, but how do you make a team featuring the three fastest players in the league coming off a 70-20 win in the NFL the underdog? I don’t make the odds I just try to defy them. The Bills have ran over there last two opponents, but I don’t think they posses the speed on Defense to keep the explosive plays at the threshold they need to win this game. I do think it stays close. Jordan Poyer is OUT also which puts even more strain on the Bills secondary. I can see this being a good game to make some money.

NCAA PREDICTION

Ole Miss (+105) over LSU (-125): Expext some fireworks from this one. Ole Miss is not the same Ole Miss as they have strayed from there normal and have adding a passing attack that can put secondary’s on their heels in a hurry. They stalled last week against Bama, but LSU played an average at best Arkansas team WAY to close for comfort. LSU failed there only other real test in FSU during week one. If LSU comes out flat this week they will not be able to keep up. Ole Miss is determined to show there resiliency and tame the Tigers.

Spreads

NFL Prediction

Minnesota Vikings (-4 and 1/2 at -110) over the Carolina Panthers (+4 and 1/2 at -110): Bryce Young coming off injury after not looking all that dazzling before the  injury faces the best 0-3 team I’ve seen in awhile. The Vikings aren’t winning the close games they did last what. Fortunately for them I don’t see this being close. J-Jet is going to pillage the Panthers secondary for 150 yards plus. The Vikings defense is going to look better and the Panthers will fall with a whimper to 0-4.

NCAA Prediction

Oregon (-27 at -115) over Stanford (+27 at -105): Not so arguably the most explosive offense in the NCAA this season continues that theme and blows the 1-3 Cardinals out of the stadium. Watch as the Ducks mascot push-up marathon continues as the Ducks win by 30. I don’t see anything on Stanford’s side that can stop it from happening. The in state beavers already proved themselves this week expect Oregon to continue to try and prove they are the best in state and possibly the nation.

Toy Story’s Happy Ending  (Prop Parlay)

The NFL gets the kids involved this week with a Toy Story themed NFL Broadcast between the Jaguars and Falcons and I figured why don’t we join in on the fun. I wanted this to be a surprise so if you read this far thank you and let’s give this story a happy ending.

Toy Story Prop Parlay Prediction

Bijan Robison over 13.5 carry’s, Trevor Lawerence over 22.5 completions, Calvin Ridley over 67.5 receiving yards, and Bijan Robison over 64.5 rushing yards at (+650)

Let’s watch these animated action figures rack up some stats and leave both the kids and parents thoroughly entertained. Bijan will be BiGone on several big runs and receive a decent workload, Lawrence accuracy will be pinpoint, and Ridley will haul in a number of big catches. Andy’s room will hold a toy chest for the kids and a treasure chest for the adults.

Wolverine Winner!

Blake Corum atleast 2 TD’s and Corum atleast 114 yards at (+289)

The Huskers run defense has been stout, but they haven’t met Blake Corum and Michigans maulers up front. I expect lanes to be cleared and points to be scored by the star back. He is going to show why he has the potential to be the best back in the nation this week.

I feel focused this week and hope to guide y’all in the direction of victory. Thank y’all so much for reading the one and only I Got A Phelan sports book guide. I love trying to make you money more than I even enjoy winning it. I study and follow passionately week in and week out in the hopes of doing just that. As always good luck and farewell my friends until next week!
