The Great Lakes region appears to be getting more matches for this year’s International Champions Cup than ever before.

A press conference in New York Tuesday morning revealed two major games in Chicago and Columbus, as well as another matchup set for “The Big House” in Ann Arbor.

As reported on Monday, Ohio Stadium will play host to PSG-Real Madrid on July 27 (6:30 CT), and today’s presser revealed that Bayern Munich will take on AC Milan at Soldier Field the same night (8:30 CT) as part of the Audi Football Summit.

With a game set on the campus of Ohio State University, Michigan also looks to be hosting a match of its own. Similar to the leak that revealed the game in Columbus, the Detroit Free Press was able to capture a screenshot that indicates Real Madrid, which took on Manchester United in 2014 in front of a record-setting crowd, will be facing Chelsea on Saturday, July 30, in Ann Arbor.

That report by the Free Press alleges a deal to play at Michigan Stadium is simply contingent on details being finalized before the match is officially announced.

UPDATE: Thursday morning, Relevent Sports and the University of Michigan confirmed Real Madrid vs. Chelsea at the Big House in Ann Arbor for July 30.

Now in its fourth year, this will mark the first time that the Bundesliga giants Bayern have taken part in the tournament, the same going for Leicester City and Celtic. The latter two, each on pace to win their respective domestic leagues, will kick-off the North American portion of the tournament in Glasgow at Celtic Park on July 23. Melbourne Victory, Tottenham, Juventus and Atletico Madrid will all take place in a three-game mini-portion of the ICC held in Australia.

The full list of teams competing in the North American edition of the 2016 ICC is as follows: Chelsea, Leicester City, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Inter, AC Milan, Celtic, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. Including the Australian clubs participating, five of the remaining eight quarter-finalists in this year’s UEFA Champions League are included in the 2016 ICC field.

Fans are encouraged to sign up for early access to the exclusive pre-sale for the tournament at InternationalChampionsCup.com.
