Gavin Prophet his brand new album Radical at the top of 2026, and as a fully independent artist, is launching his first solo tour this spring.

He gives punk music its flowers with punchy stand out lyrics like “trickle down these nuts with your economy” in ‘I’m Not Lazy’ — his standout hit with over 1 million streams on iTunes. After listening to Radical top to bottom many times, I can say with certainty the story telling done in this album is thought provoking and incredibly fun.

We got to talking about what it’s like to be an independent artist, his influences and Animal Crossing. Seriously, we know it’s a long one — but we cover so many fun topics you’ll want to tune in — like he really did that kick flip on his album cover (is it a kickflip? I don’t know what a kick flip is) in a suit no less!

The best way to support Gavin Prophet is to buy/stream Radical and purchase tickets to his upcoming tour; if the first leg goes well he will be able to tour the East Coast. Tickets are $20 or less.
