I Got A Phelan: The Triumphant Return

After a long hiatus your favorite sports book oracle is back!

Let me start off by saying: It is good to be back behind the scenes doing what I do for you fine folks. Digging into the world of parlays and money lines. Upsets and spreads. Props and points. It is time for the return of I Got A Phelan! This week I am dropping an NFL Week Two exclusive that is designed to defy the odds and pocket you money. Join me in this journey as we begin with your newest favorite underdog story as we start off with the upset of the week.

Upset Of The Week

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+280) over Detroit Lions (-350): The oddsmakers love the Detroit Lions. They are set to be heavy favorites in a lot of contests and not that I don’t believe the hype I just like what I saw from Mayfield and the Bucs more than I liked what I saw from Goff and the Lions. I saw that the lions are the leaders of this years “Hypometer” which explains the hype on the lines. I really got a Phelan the Bucs play spoiler at Ford Field.

Money Line

Indianapolis Colts (-148) over Green Bay Packers (+128): This one truly just falls back on I don’t trust Malik Willis to win a football game. I also feel Anthony Richardson brings the X-Factor that gets the Colts the W.

New York Giants (+105) over Washington Commanders (-125): If Daniel Jones wants to dose the flames that the New York media are creating under his driver’s seat of the Giants offense.. likely using his jersey as tinder at this point.. he needs a jaw dropping performance. I mean jaws dropping in awe not despair. The Commanders are susceptible to giving up a performance of that nature. We will just have to wait and see.

Parlay Of The Week

Jaguars, Seahawks, Cardinals. (+390): A slew of slight favorites leads the way to profits for my selections in this parlay of the week take. I see each of them holding true to their favorite status and cashing in at a very nice clip.

Spread Of The Week

Las Vegas Raiders (+9) (-115): While a win is likely not feasible after witnessing the self destruction in a game they were controlling against the Chargers last week. I do believe they can keep it within a touchdown. Their defense is no joke and while the offense hasn’t gelled and may never due to the lackluster QB room the Raiders posses. They have enough playmakers to mask the flaws enough to keep it within the 9 points they are being given.

I truly love writing this type of material for y’all and I hope you enjoy it as well. Stick with me and I will continue to try and decipher the numbers others don’t comprehend to the same degree as yours truly. Everyone stay safe, bet responsibly, and as always good luck. Check back next week for not only my NFL takes, but for my return to the college ranks!
