Another week, another lineup announcement for the 2017 Loudest Month. Last week we took in the announced lineup for Rock on The Range going on in Columbus Ohio on May 19-21 and today the lineup for Carolina Rebellion, presented by Monster Energy has been released.
This is the second consecutive year where the festival has been expanded to three days, Friday May 5 to Sunday May 7th and this lineup has it all.
Coming to the Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte North Carolina and kicking off Friday, May 5 will be a killer lineup headlined by the grunge era superstars Soundgarden and A Perfect Circle. Friday rounds out with Mastadon, The Cult, Pierce The Veil, Opeth, Amon Amarth, Eagles of Death Metal, Highly Suspect, Gorjira, Northing More, Every Time I Die, Starset, Radkey and a half dozen others.
Saturday features 80’s hair metal bands Def Leppard and Tesla with Carolina Rebellion veterans Korn being the other headliner. Rock acts Chevelle, Alter Bridge, The Pretty Reckless join the likes of Sum 41, In Flames, In This Moment, Dillinger Escape Plan, Machine Gun Kelly, All That Remains, Rival Sons, The Amity Affliction and a bevy of others will be seen and heard throughout the day.
Sunday finishes off with rock heavy weights Avenged Sevenfold and 90’s era The Offspring as the headliners. Joining them will be Volbeat, Papa Roach, Seether, Three Days Grace, Coheed & Cambria, Skillet, Taking Back Sunday, Falling In Reverse, Motionless In White, Beartooth, Fozzy, Kyng, Sylar among others.
