Northwestern Athletics saw two new leadership changes this week in football and basketball.
John Lintner will be Northwestern’s new Assistant Director of Football Video and Data Security. A tech innovator with extensive football video operation background, he brings more than a decade of experience in college football.
Lintner’s role is the first of its kind at the Power Four level and will collaborate with IT to protect internal data and sensitive information of the Wildcat football program.
“John is an outstanding addition to our staff,” said Head Football Coach David Braun. “The way football programs operate today requires us to be intentional about how we manage and protect our internal information. His background in video operations and data security gives us a real edge in building a secure, efficient and forward-thinking operation.”
Elsewhere, Mark Jackson, Northwestern Combe Family Vice President for Athletics and Recreation, was named to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Selection Committee, the NCAA announced on Thursday.
