IGAP: Phelan A Division Between Us

This week teams look to break each others hearts on their way to their respective conference championship game

Hello y’all! Let’s get into this and do something Hallmark does and profit off of heartbreak.

This week the elite eight of the NFL leave all they have out on the gridiron in an attempt to leap over another obstacle in their Super Bowl run. The losers only remaining obstacle will be their couch. Let’s go predict the unpredictable in this divisional weekend edition of I’ve Got A Phelan.

UPSET OF THE WEEK

Green Bay Packers (+360) over San Francisco 49ers (-450): While a long shot, what team could you believe in more than the Packers right now? They ended on a hot streak and have a very young team radiating talent and chemistry. The 49ers are the Super Bowl favorites of many, but Green Bay has already broke some brackets to create some January madness. Why not keep it up and give some more reasons for the city of Green Bay to phel the Love. 😉

Green Bay 24, San Francisco 21.

Money Line

Buffalo Bills (-120) over the Kansas City Chiefs (+100): Turns out Dolphins die in the extreme cold. You know what doesn’t? Buffaloes. The Chiefs take a trek into the cold, daunting, clinically insane territory of the Bills Mafia. Mahomes and Allen have left a many memorable matchups in cold cold temps. Why not another? Both are built to win in these conditions, but Buffalo is built better.

Bills 28, KC 24

Spread

Detroit Lions (-6 at -110) over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6 at -110): The Buccaneers surprised the majority of the football world taking down the playoff experienced Eagles with a less than healthy Mayfield. While admirable going into the red hot, playoff attention starved, and bound to be revved up Ford field is much different than the pitiful husk of what the Eagles once were.

Lions 35, Buccaneers 21

Thank y’all once again for taking the time to read what has become my favorite hobby outside of my nursing career.

Looking at the lines, playing the odds, and giving the readers a fun and lighthearted read is enough to keep me smiling. Hopefully y’all can smile too when your bank accounts reflect a successful weekend for us and the teams that get their chance to plan for the chance to book their date in VEGAS BABY for Super Bowl 58!
