IGAP: Phelan A Pick 6

The latest lines and predictions for the best week of the college football season.

Hello, sportsbook faithful, to a mouth watering plate of action packed NCAA football. In this years New Years Six bowls we look at upsets, heartbreak, and champions. Join me in playing the odds of one of the most entertaining weeks of football in any capacity.

UPSET OF THE NEW YEAR

Missouri Tigers (+175) over Ohio State Buckeyes (-205): My home state Tigers have so much momentum and brotherhood bond propelling them to one of the most historically meaningful bowl games in program history. The Buckeyes are a dangerous and talented team that has to be let down sitting outside the Top 4 to bring in the year. I don’t think they bring enough juice to the game to tame the Tigers.

SPREAD

Texas (-4 at -107) over Washington (+4 at -113): Washington has done all they have had too to secure the number two spot on the CFP playoffs. Texas is no easy reward for that effort. Flashes of prolific offense and crazy athletic defense from Texas, I have a Phelan the Longhorns hand Washington its first blemish and last game of an amazing season.

MONEYLINE

Penn State (-190) over Ole Miss (+165): Defense may not win championships in this game,  but I believe it wins the Nitanny Lions the Peach Bowl. Ole Miss’ fast pace is flashy and fun,  but it’s the gritty Penn State team surviving the onslaught and giving the offense ample opportunity to secure the win.

CHAMPIONS

The Wolverine Winners 😉 My take on who’s going to win it all goes to those in the viewing area of my article. This is not just an attempt to win favoritism, but a true Phelan be Wolverines  win it all. Rolling over the Tide and slashing the survivor of Washington and Texas on there way to this years edition of NCAA history.

PICK 6

The moneyline parlay dream pick for all 6 New Years 6 bowl winners: Michigan, Texas, Missouri, Penn State, Georgia, and Oregon (+1370)

Thank you all once again for giving my article a click and tuning in for a fun way to gather insight to the holiday cheer our favorite game can provide. I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and a safe, fun and profitable New Year. As always best of luck and farewell!
