I’ve Got A Phelan: Turkey Tips

Happy Thanksgiving to our readers and sports bettors

Welcome y’all to a special edition of the I’ve Got A Phelan sportsbook guide!

In theme with the season and my normally punny-writing, I present to you this weeks Turkey Tips. With what is a classic and historic day for football we get ready to dig into picks, parlays and what I am coining the Triple Turkey. Meaning we attempt to predict the winner (spread) and the over under of each game in one parlay that’ll hopefully leave your wallet as full as your belly.

Let’s go on and turkey trot into the meat of these odds and be thankful to the founders of sports betting — along with family and all that too!

Favorite Spread

Detroit Lions (-7 and 1/2 at -115) over the Green Bay Packers (+7 and 1/2 at -105): The Thanksgiving mainstay Lions are actually a team worth watching this year and not just a filler to get to the better games! Sorry Lions fans, but it’s been a a tough stretch for y’all — until now. This team has moxie, skill, and grit. Built to play deep into the winter I would love to see a statement game against the long time for Packers. St-Brown is going to look to feast and Gibbs will be coming back for seconds. Hutch on the other side will steal the love for the season away from the Packers offense.

Prop Punch

Noon Window

First TD Scorer Jamhyr Gibbs (+500): He’ll gobble up yards on his teams first drive leading to 6!

Afternoon Window

Terry McLaurin At Least 98 Receiving Yards (+365): Dallas may smoke the Commanders, but even so for them to stay in it they’ll have to throw. He’ll emerge as the top target.

Late Window

Longest TD O/U 34.5 Yards (-115): Late night game on Thanksgiving? There has to be at least one big play for a score right?

Triple Turkey

Lions (-7 and 1/2), Commanders (+13 1/2), 49ers (7 and 1/2), Noon Under 47, Afternoon Over 48 and 1/2, Late Under 43 and 1/2: This one’s for all the pie. Gamble on perfection with me?

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and remember to enjoy this time of year, make some good memories, gain some pounds, and win some cash. Everyone stay safe traveling and remember driving in the end is more important than the ESPN app. Stay tuned for the rest of this weeks selections in a few days!
