Saturday morning the music community was saddened to learn about the sudden passing of Kyle Pavone.

The 28-year old was a vocalist and keyboardist in We Came As Romans, joining the band in 2008 and appearing on all five of their full-length records. The band put out a statement:

Today music lost another great with the passing of Kyle Pavone of We Came as Romans. Kyle’™s tragic loss came too early in his life and those of his bandmates. All are devastated by his passing. We will miss his smiles, his sincerity, his concern for others, and his impressive musical talent. In lieu of flowers, we will be providing information regarding charity donations this coming week. The family and the band wish to thank their fans and the music community for all of their love and support as they navigate their grief.

“Will I Be Remembered or Will I Be Lost in Loving Eyes?”

We Came As Romans released their fifth album Cold Like War in 2017 and the band had been touring on and off throughout the last year in support of that record. The band was founded in 2005 in Troy, Michigan.

The band will be releasing charity information in the coming days in lieu of flowers. Kyle Pavone will be missed and our thoughts are with his family, bandmates and fans.
