First wave of bands announced for Riot Fest

Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Jawbreaker headline another epic – and heavier – year for Riot Fest in Chicago's Douglas Park....

RiotFestDouglas Park better prepare for an epic weekend when Riot Fest returns September 15-17, as Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Jawbreaker are slated to headline the festival.

With a more rock and punk appeal this year, Riot Fest still brings a variety of bands from different genres and eras. Nine Inch Nails will headline Friday night, while Queens of the Stone Age headline Saturday and Jawbreaker finish the festival off on Sunday. This is just the first wave of bands, and already we have nearly 70 bands announced and 25 more expected.

A Day To Remember, Paramore, Prophets of Rage, Wu-Tang Clan, New Order, GWAR, Taking Back Sunday and many more are slated to take over Chicago.
