Vic Law scored a career-high 18 points as he led the Wildcats in scoring with four others hitting double digits in points.

Scottie Lindsey added 17 points, Sanjay Lumpkin, Isiah Brown and Bryant McIntosh all put in 11 points on the night in route to a 94-63 drubbing of Mississippi Valley State in the home opener at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, IL.

Law missed all of last season with injury but showed no ill effects and was on the top of his game as he hit 7 of his 10 shots on the night.

“I thought he played with a smile on his face,” coach Chris Collins said of Law.  “Just to see him relax and having fun playing basketball, I knew he was going to have success when you saw a different kind of guy than you did last week.”

Next on the agenda for the Wildcats is a game Monday, November 14 as they host Eastern Washington.
