Michigan lands commitment from WR Brad Hawkins

Four-star wide receiver recruit Brad Hawkins committed to Michigan Friday, joining a strong recruiting class for 2016....

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t looks as though Jim Harbaugh’s interview with Colin Cowherd didn’t hurt the Wolverines on the recruiting trail, as Michigan landed a commitment from a four-star receiver Friday.

Brad Hawkins is a four-star wide receiver recruit from Camden, New Jersey. Standing at 6-1, 190 pounds, Hawkins is ranked 38th at wide receiver for the class of 2016.

Hawkins will likely strengthen the Michigan offense when he takes the field in 2016, having the ability to catch the football and make key plays in the red-zone. There’s little doubt that any flaws Hawkins has won’t be improved under coach Harbaugh.

He had offers from top programs including Notre Dame and Ohio State.
