The Dead Daisies to set sail this fall with Kiss Kruise

The Dead Daisies will be joining the Kiss Kruise this fall for some hard rock fun on the high seas....

The Dead daisies[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he time has come again for the fourth annual KISS Kruise, and sailing alongside the legendary rock kings are The Dead Daisies.

Joined by other acts such as Cheap Trick, Robin Zander, Snakebite, and The Pat Travers Band; The Dead Daisies plan to set sail on Halloween from Miami, Florida. The cruise itself lasts 4 days and will be travelling to Nassau, Bahamas but not before stopping at Great Stirrup Cay for a special acoustic performance from KISS.  The Norwegian Pearl makes way on October 31st and will return on November 4th.

The Dead Daisies, being a classic rock super group, should fit right in with the long hair flying, eyeliner sporting line-up that is the KISS Kruise.

A band that is filled with members of the rock industry who have paid their dues, The Dead Daisies are sure to put on a stellar performance which most would hope will literally rock the boat.  This relatively new band consists of vocalist John Stevens (Noiseworks/INXS), guitarist David Lowy (Mink/Red Phoenix), lead guitarist Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses/Psychedelic Furs), bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake), keyboardist Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses/ Hookers & Blow), and new drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne/Billy Idol).

Their newest EP, “Face I Love,” has been getting a lot of face time since its release in early August of this year. In a week’s time, the official video for the single “Face I Love” has logged over 8,000 views on YouTube. Their creative composition of fan’s pictures and band footage put a real feel to the new mix of classic rock and alternative blues that can pique the interest of any classic rock fan while still keeping a steady progression with the aging influence of modern rock.

With experience of touring over 100 dates in 2013, this cruise will be the perfect warm-up for their upcoming tour through New Zealand and Australia. Looks like the islands on the cruise won’t be their last paradise stops for the year.
