‘Addicted: Live with Zane’ comes to theaters

Addicted, a new thriller based on a best-selling book by Zane, is coming to theaters, and a live event hosted by producers Lionsgate and Codeblack Films (a division of the former) with Fathom Events will be held October 9th in support of the film.

“Addicted: Live with Zane” will feature a special early screening of the movie plus a live Q & A with author Zane.  The event will be broadcast live from Magic Johnson Theater in New York, and audience members will have the chance to ask questions via Twitter.

Grammy-winning singer Estelle will also sing her song “Conqueror,” which is featured as a track in the film.

Fathom Events CEO John Rubey remarked Addicted will be talked about for a long time. “Offering our large and loyal audience the chance to have an advance look and participate with the author, cast and filmmakers is an experience they won’t soon forget,” he said.

Addicted stars Sharon Leal, Boris Kodjoe, Tasha Smith, Tyson Beckford and William Levy and the film’s director Bille Woodruff.

A sexy thriller about desire and the dangers of indiscretion, Addicted is the tale of a successful businesswoman (Sharon Leal) with the perfect life, who risks everything pursuing a secret existence of temptation and peril.

Addicted: Live With Zane” will be presented in select cinemas nationwide on Thursday, October 9th at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT with a second tape-delayed showing at 11 pm ET/8 pm PT.

Tickets are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in more than 340 select movie theaters nationwide through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network.
