The second half of the 2014 Honda Civic Tour is here. Dates have been released for the show, which extends through October and November and features Brooklyn-based pop/rock headlining band American Authors.
The tour will make stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C. , with tickets on sale August First at www.HondaCivicTour.com. The Mowgli’s, as well as Echosmith and Oh Honey will also make appearances on the tour.
American Authors’ hit single, “Best Day of My Life,” has been certified double platinum, and the official video for the song has reached over 23 million views on YouTube. The group was named both a VH1 “You Oughta Know” artist and a VEVO “Lift” artist, and their new single “Believer” is already Top 20 at Hot AC radio.
American Authors’ success prompted Honda to support them for their first ever solo headlining tour with their leg of the 2014 Honda Civic Tour series.
Now in its 13th year, Honda Civic Tour is on its third successive tours of the year, highlighting three distinct genres of music.
Alternative rock bands Grouplove and Portugal. The Man will co-headline the first 2014 Honda Civic Tour this summer with TokyoPolice Club and Typhoon supporting on various dates. Latin DJ trio 3BallMTY will headline the final tour of the series starting mid-November, with dates to be announced soon.
