H&M, along with Taylor Tomasi Hill celebrated the start of summer and the brand’s new seasonal collections on Thursday night with H&M Summer Camp.

Over 300 guests were there for the occasion, gathered at Café de la Esquina’s Brooklyn location to view H&M and Taylor’s chic summer collaborations, as well as to support Taylor’s latest journey into the floral industry.

The event featured exclusive, camp-themed activities, and music was provided by both DJ Mia Moretti and a live performance around the campfire by Zoe Kravitz and her band LOLAWOLF.

H&M’s first-ever Brooklyn party commenced with a press review in the “General Store,” where the press was able to gather and view the new summer collections. “General Store” pieces included highlights from this summer’s key summer campaigns, such as the brand’s newly announced Ashley Benson campaign, along with highly desired styles for men, women and children.

“Who wouldn’t want to take a brief trip back to summer camp as an adult? I’m thrilled to be working with H&M not only because I respect and wear the brand, but because it’s fashionable, accessible, and affordable!  They know how to execute an event their guests remember and reference,” said co-host and style expert Taylor Tomasi Hill.

The event continued after the preview, and guests excitedly participated in various camp themed activities such as a photo booth, postcard writing station and ping pong.

Taylor Tomasi Hill provided vibrant flower crowns and bracelets that added bursts of color to the outdoor retreat.

Hors d’Oeuvres included an array of Mexican-inspired treats, signature cocktails and corn on the cob, a highly sought-after Café de la Esquina favorite.

To honor H&M’s commitment to sustainability, the brand partnered with Riverkeeper, a member-supported organization that works to protect the Hudson River and its tributaries. Riverkeeper has been known as New York’s “clean water advocate” for 50 years, working toward cleaner drinking water for about 9 million people.

“The Hudson River is a playground for millions of New Yorkers, and we’re committed to making it cleaner, healthier and more accessible to everyone,” said Junior Council member John Koblinsky. “We can’t do this work without support from grass-roots advocates and corporate partners like H&M.”
