[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter the second game, I became very skeptical about a third Dragon Age. The first one appealed to the more old school traditional RPGs, having a very original Baldur’s Gate feel to it. The second felt like Mass Effect 2 did. Heavier on the action but lacking in other areas. So knowing Bioware’s track record with 3’s and hearing the announcement, I really pushed it to the side.
Fast forward to today and watching the first gameplay trailer for Dragon Age Inquisition (aka Dragon Age 3), my mind was blown.
Gameplay? Seriously watch the trailer for yourself and tell me if you do a double take. The graphic engine for this is insane. Cut scenes will be integrated with the gameplay and from what I can see from that trailer, it’s a magnificent achievement. Some of the fight sequences remind me heavily of Dark Souls and that’s not a bad thing.
Once again won’t be able to judge until we can play it for ourselves. But so far so good. It looks great and I can’t wait to test it out for myself! What do you think?
