The Workaholics trio is back with the kooky endeavors this week in “DeputyDong” and, yes, the episode was just as ridiculous as the name. But in that special, Workaholics’ charm that has developed throughout Comedy Central since 2011. Instead of the competitive energy that was felt in last week’s episode, you find an urge for revenge that you can experience from numerous airings.

The 12th episode of the 4th season starts with Blake and Adam playing a video game; competing against the so called Deputy Dong. The absurd game name keeps referring to the two characters as “faggots” as they’re all playing via headset.

The continuous reference begins to enrage Blake and Adam, and while this is going down Anders is packing up California avocados with dry ice to ship to his “big titty pen pal,” in Sweden. Oh, Ders.

Anders informs his roommates that he never plays against ‘Deputy Dong’ because of his immense skills and mean references. After losing to Deputy Dong, Adam proceeds to pour his beer all over Anders avocados and dry ice, which caused them to spontaneously combust all over the three characters. And me to combust in uncontrollable laughter.

The next day, the boys are doing their typical sales calls until Blake comes to the realization that he is speaking with Deputy Dong. When the three realize that the TeliAmericorp has Deputy Dongs address on file they decide to make the nine hour drive to give him a piece of their minds.

When the cast members first show up to the house and bang on the door no one answers until Adam screams from picking up dry ice with his bare hands, with the desire to make another bomb. As Adams shrieks, a young, well dressed teenager appears from the house to assist until a cop car pull into the driveway. Deputy Dong is finally revealed as the cop emerges from the cop car after attending a wake for a fellow policeman.

During this time, Blake has been breaking into the house from the back in his traditional and absurd nature. While the others are hiding from the gamer and his son to keep their identities a secret. As the son tries to explain what he saw, Deputy Dong informs his son that the rest of his police force is coming over to celebrate the life of the fallen policeman.

This occurrence causes Blake to hide in the sons’ closet in a hilarious sense and leaving Anders and Adam to sneak into the cop party pretending to be black ops agents. When the son discovers Blake in the closet (haha) and finds out the ensemble have planned to delete their fathers gaming account the son, Nate, finds himself wanting to help the characters in their endeavor because of his distance with his father.

You will have to watch the episode to discover how the crew gets themselves out of this pickle because it is just too hilarious to give away. The episode is worth watching plainly just to see how funny it is when the three characters take the term ‘Waterboarding’ too literally. These men have taken bizarre comedy and given it a whole new standard with Season 4 and personally, I can’t wait for it to continue on Season 5.
