As fans anticipate Lana Del Rey’s  upcoming album “Ultraviolence,” which is due for release May 1, a new track by the singer popped up on SoundCloud this week.

“Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight” hints at an update to Lana’s sound– a more disco and upbeat feel.

While it won’t appear on her next album, the surprising track seems to hint at a sound evolution for Lana.

“Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight” is faster and has a groove to it, definitely taking on a lighter tone than previous tracks “Summertime Sadness” and “Born To Die,” though in Lana tradition, is still full of emotion and sensuality as she sings it with her seductive vocals. It’s “Lolita” taken to another level.
