Alternative metal fans rejoice! It’s been a somewhat quiet year for the genre thus far, but the announcement of a new record from a formidable super group featuring some of the most respected names in aggressive metal music is sure to please. Enter ‘Killer Be Killed’, which brings together The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, Mastodon bassist Troy Sanders, Soulfly guitarist Max Cavalera, and Dave Elitch, formerly of The Mars Volta.
The band has announced that their debut, self-titled record is set for a May 13 release in the states (Europe: 5/9, UK: 5/12) on Nuclear Blast Records. The album was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur, who has previous credits in taking the helm for the most recent albums from Lamb Of God and Gojira.
