Former Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller scored his first NFL touchdown, which also helped the Houston Texans beat the Chicago Bears....

That didn’t take long at all.

Former Notre Dame star receiver Will Fuller made his NFL debut Sunday for the Houston Texans, and in the process he made his first career scoring reception for the Texans.

Down 14-13 early in the fourth quarter to the Chicago Bears on 3rd-and-7, quarterback Brock Osweiler threw the ball low but into Fuller’s hands, who in turn avoided defenders and ran 18 yards for the touchdown. This gave the Texans a 20-14 lead over Chicago.

The Fuller touchdown gave Houston the spark needed to close out the game, 23-14. Fuller finished with 5 receptions for 107 yards. His 107 yards set a Texans record for receivers in a rookie debut.
