[dropcap]D[/dropcap]uring ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcast, millions of non-football fans (and football fans, let’s be real) tuned in for the official trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

After the first half ended, Mike Tirico invited fans to watch the trailer, which lasts two-minutes and 18 seconds. With roughly two months until the highly-anticipated film makes it’s debut, movie theaters are already selling tickets for the Thursday, December 17 viewings as well as for the official release date of December 18th.

Some theaters had tickets for sale before the trailer dropped, though most chains were instructed not to sell tickets until the moment the trailer ended on ESPN.

And let’s just say, I have already bought mine!
