[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ecently, Netflix announced their plans to launch their internet service to Australia and New Zealand in March of 2015.
Netflix is named as the world’s leading internet television service and currently has over 53 million members.
The service is known for having a wide selection of many different titles for viewers to choose from and its great accessibility to watch media from from your phone, computer, tablet, and game consoles.
Titles such as award winning original show Orange Is The New Black, new blockbuster films like The Hunger Games, even TV favorites like Family Guy, are just some of the popular selections among subscribers.
The online service is currently available to viewers in the US, but is has also expanded globally since launching in 2007 to countries: France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Latin America, and many more.
The new addition of Australia and New Zealand will bring the count of territories and countries enjoying the online service to over 50. With the new launch the Netflix subscribers will able to enjoy new original series such as BoJack Horseman, kids titles like Dreamworks Animation’s All Hail King Julian, well-received documentaries like Mission Blue, and laugh out loud stand up comedy like Chelsea Handler’s Uganda, Be Kidding Me, Live.
Netflix will also expand its current ANZ selection in 2015 with brand new originals such as the highly anticipated show, Bloodline. The series will star Ben Mendelsohn, Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Linda Cardellini and Sam Shepard in a thriller that explores the demons lurking under the surface of a contemporary American family.
Subscribers can also look forward to watching the gripping show, Marvel’s Daredevil, which is about a lawyer at day who fights crime at night. This superhero tale features the cast of Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Vincent D’Onofrio.
Another additional thriller series title is Sense8, that comes from the creators of The Matrix trilogy, Babylon 5, and Friends. Sense8 follows the stories of eight strangers located from different parts of the world whose lives suddenly change after becoming mentally and emotionally linked.
