[dropcap]H[/dropcap]old onto your hats Fleetwood Mac lovers because Christine Mcvie is returning to the keyboards and the band after a sixteen year hiatus. Mick FLeetflood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, and Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac are coming back together to announce a 33- North American tour, opening in Minneapolis, MN on Sept. 30th, 2014.
In the course of the 2013 Fleetwood Mac tour, Christine McVie made an appearance onstage to join the band perform, “Don’t Stop” during the London stop of the trek. From what it seems the band is excited to have the keyboardist return. “As far as we’re concerned, she never really left. We are overjoyed to have Christine back on stage with us” according to the band.
It’s quite impressive to see a band stay as dedicated to the music they have developed even with members constantly coming and going. Christine has not toured with Fleetwood Mac since The Dance tour of 1998. The British-rock band made their start back in 1967 with Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac album that featured original bandmates John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, and Jeremy Spencer. Since that time, certain band members have been summed to make the original sound of Fleetwood Mac that we all recognize and enjoy.
Fleetwood Mac has streamed a vast discography with 17 albums under their belt. As the band has continued to morph; the ever-changing iconic group sustains the natural roots that stemmed from the music in which it began.
On With The Show tour ticket sales start on April 7th, and can be purchased through Livenation.com or the Live Nation mobile app. For the history of this band, this seems like a pretty epic opportunity to miss out on. Be sure to get your Fleetwood Mac fix with this tour. You can never recognize when an opportunity like this one can come round again.
