Got anything planned for the weekend of the 20th? No? Well ya do now! And even if you did, too bad! The Throttle Fest Chicago music festival is coming to the Windy City and going on at Toyota Park starting Thursday the 20th and raging through the weekend.

Known as the Midwest’s biggest 3 – day Bike Rally, Throttle Fest has become a great place where motorcycle enthusiasts and music fans can gather, talk, trade stories, show off their bikes; anything goes!! Well, not really, but everybody can have a great time. It also must be noted that this is a neutral event, so club colors will not be allowed. As for the music, there is no shortage of great acts. Taking the stage on June 21 is headliner, Vince Neil with appearances by Pop Evil, The Last Vegas and Wayland. On the 22nd, we have Jesse James Dupree’s very own band, Jackyl, headlining. Supporting performances from his son, Nigel Dupree and American Motherload.
The entire cast of Tru-TV’s Full Throttle Saloon will be present on-site for the festival. So expect to see Full Throttle Saloon owner, Michael Ballard, Angie, the Flaunt Dancers, Jesse James Dupree and Goat. Throttle Fest will also be featuring many of the attractions from their Sturgis, SD location including the burn-out pits, the Wall of Death, a mechanical bull, Pro Blitz Wrestling, and more. You can also expect an expansive congregation of vendors in the Chicagoland area with motorcycle parts and accessories and a ton of stuff you may have not even know you wanted!! THROTTLE FEST!! The actual Full Throttle Saloon, as known to anybody familiar with the Sturgis, SD location, will be erected in Toyota Park. Are you freaking serious?! What reason do you have not to come?
“Bringing everything that is Full Throttle Saloon to Chicago was such a success last year that I was worried the city officials would outlaw it happening again. Jackyl has a reputation that precedes them. They are regarded at the “Hardest working band in Rock n Roll” and hold two Guinness World records for performing 100 shows in 50 days as well as 21 shows in 24 hours. They make it a point to stay true to their working band roots. They have also shared the stage with rock heavyweights like Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and Damn Yankees. Their track, “Locked and Loaded” also features frontman, Brian Johnson of AC/DC. Fan’s look forward to seeing them at their annual Summer festivals, which they make it a point to have each and every show the “sonic equivalent of a man being shot out of a cannon”.
