The first trailer “Fifty Shades of Grey” was released globally this morning on Today show. Produced by Universal Pictures and Focus Features’, the trailer included a new version of Beyoncés’ “Crazy in Love,” scored by artist Boots.
The film was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti alongside E L James, the creator of the series. The screenplay for the film is by Kelly Marcel. www.fiftyshadesmovie.com
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson star as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the film, which is set for release February 13, 2015. The two appeared on the Today show for the premiere.
Fifty Shades of Grey was a best-selling book series, written in 51 languages and selling more than 100 million copies in e-book and print—making it one of the biggest and fastest-selling book series ever.
