Could Blake Corum and Jim Harbaugh reunite in Los Angeles?

The former Michigan running back was asked about the possibility by sportscaster Kay Adams on March 19 when he appeared on FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams.

“How surreal would it be to pick up the phone on draft day and hear his voice on the other end?” Adams asked Corum.

“That’d be crazy,” answered Corum, grinning from ear to ear. “We’ve been through a lot the last four years and we ended on a bang.

“If I picked up the phone and I heard his voice on the other side, just know we’re gonna go win a Super Bowl just like we won a natty!”

Corum led No. 1 Michigan to a national championship earlier this year when the Wolverines beat No. 2 Washington, 34-13, in Houston. In that game, Corum rushed 21 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns. During the 2023 season, he amassed 1,245 yards on the ground and 27 touchdowns — a single season record for the program. His longest run of the season came in the championship on a 59-yard sprint.

He also had 117 yards through the air and a score.

The two-time All-American finished his career at Michigan as the all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 58.

Following Michigan’s victory, head coach Jim Harbaugh left Ann Arbor to return to the NFL, taking the vacant head coach position with the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers finished the 2023 season 5-12.

Harbaugh, who has been living out of an RV since the move to L.A., and the Chargers have the fifth pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, which takes place April 25-27 in Detroit.
