The highly anticipated announcement for Lollapalooza 2017 was unveiled Wednesday morning and this festival has it all for music lovers of all genres.
The four day event will be held once again at Chicago’s Grant Park and will kick off on Thursday, August 3 and will run through Sunday night. More than 170 bands will be performing.
Thursday’s opening festivities features the likes of Muse, Lorde, Cage the Elephant, Wiz Khalifa gracing the stage under the Chicago sky. Friday has The Killers, Blink 182 and Run The Jewels. Grammy winner and Chicago’s own Chance The Rapper will be headlining the main stage on Saturday night along with Alt-J, Kaskade and Vance Joy. Four-Day tickets sold out quickly on Tuesday and single day tickets go on sale today. Lollapalooza was founded by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Ferrell in 1991 as a touring festival.
