On Monday, the Fighting Irish announced that walk-on sophomore Chris Finke had earned a full scholarship to the University of Notre Dame.
Finke – a wide receiver from Kettering, Ohio – is credited with remaining consistent through spring and fall camps, impressing head coach Brian Kelly and his staff. Finke is behind C.J. Sanders in the slot receiver slot on the depth chart but Kelly has said that Finke will see plenty of game action this year.
The 5-foot-9, 190-pound receiver played at Archbishop Alter High School under current Irish quarterback, Malik Zaire.
