Miss May I’s own, Ryan Neff, sat down with The Music Blitz to discuss the start of their current tour, in which they’re in support of We Came as Romans, Wilson and Sworn In.
Starting the tour on a Friday, then having a day off right away, can only be described as a “weird start” to most major touring bands. Miss May I joins the guys in We Came As Romans, Wilson, and Sworn In, on the Bands vs Food tour and what better way to start a tour off, then in front of a sold out hometown show for two of those bands.
Presented by 89X, a Michigan alternative rock radio station, this was a completely free show that fans had to reserve tickets for in order to make the show. After selling out within hours, this show was not a disappointment. Every band presented the fans with everything they had. We Came As Romans closed out the show as the headliner of the tour. Every member came out wearing a Detroit Red Wings shirt or jersey to support their hometown team as they fight for another Stanley Cup chance.
