The 2016 Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion is shaping up to be one epic weekend on May 6, 7 & 8th after the announcement this morning of the Festival Experiences and the “Gourmet Man Food” Pig Out BBQ Village.
First off the Pig Out BBQ Village: The newly expanded village will feature Gourmet Man Food that reflects the cuisine of the region and the cultural food explosion that is happening around the country. “GMF” has been a part of American culture since pioneer started experimenting with their cowboy menus to “kick things up a notch.” It has been a phenomenon since and the portions will be large so bring your appetite. It will also feature a unique twist to foods you know with a myriad of flavors you sure won’t expect. The BBQ Village lineup will include: Angry Bird Grills, Aporkalypse Now, Cheese Louise, Cravin’ Cajun, Mac Attack, Master of Patties, Ollie’s Tots, Porchetta and Queencity Q. VIP Loung Gourmet Man Food vendors include the Chicago Taste Authority, Flip Flop Rob’s BBQ, Island Noodles, Little Smoke, Pie Baby, and What’s The Catch.
- The Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion will feature multiple onsite experiences for those in attendance.
- Bud Light has formed the Bud Light Party- a party for everyone!
- F.Y.E. will be hosting the Ultimate Fan and artist interactive experiences throughout the weekend. You may be able to meet your favorite performer so check the website for artist meet and greet and autograph signings.
- Jack Daniels invites visitors to come out and tour the nation’s oldest registered distillery from outside the Jack Daniel’s Hollow. Visitors get to see and smell whiskey dripping slowly through the charcoal and the new oak barrels used in maturing Tennesee’s finest whiskey. The Experience is open to all those 21 years and up and the tours are FREE of charge. Sorry, Mila Kunis will not be your tour guide.
- The Music Experience features all the elements that are involved in making music in a professional band setting. The interactive exhibit features guitars, basses, amps, drums, keyboards and electronic gear that are used by today’s most popular bands.
- Zippo Encore will be back with a full stock of Zippo lighters, including the Limited Edition festival designs.
- Deep Eddy Vodka will be keeping fans hydrated throughout the weekend.
- Jägermeister has been rocking the Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion fans since day one and they will be back for an even bigger and better 2016!
- VIP Experiences in the Pabst 1844 Lounge and the Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Club are the ultimate way to experience the weekend! VIP ticket holders will have access to: ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and Jack Daniel’s Cocktails as well as shaded tents with seating areas, direct view to main stages, video screens, private bars, upgraded food vendors, private restrooms, WiFi and changing stations! - Thursday Night Campground Party, those who have purchased camping and hotel packages are invited to attend the Thursday Night Campground Party. Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm.
The Mid-Atlantic’s Biggest Rock Festival has expanded in 2016 to three full days! The lineup will feature some of today’s best rock acts along with legendary classic artists playing on four stages through the grounds of Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.
