I strolled out to H.O.M.E. Bar in Arlington Heights to check out Michigan rapper Blaze Ya Dead Homie.
Touring on the heels of his most recent album “The Casket Factory”, Blaze took to the dimly lit stage late into the evening and killed it for those Juggalos who came out in full force to support Blaze and the rest of the Magic Ninja lineup.
Blaze’s music is masterful and his lyrics and rhymes are equally as intense as the nature of his lyrics hit extremely controversial subject matter. Blaze knows how to play to his audience, his energy and his control of the stage it top notch, and he gives the Juggalos what they want.
I saw various people in the first few rows pull out their cell phones just to record certain sequences of his stage performance, others intensely watching his every move as he thrashed about the stage.
If you ever want to check out an intense, off the script music show, Blaze and the crew would be a night to remember.
