[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ock On The Range announced Monday afternoon that another legendary addition has been made to this year’s lineup as Deftones return to MAPFRE Stadium.
Deftones will join the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch and more for the tenth anniversary of the festival.
Chino Moreno said via a press release Monday that the band is excited for their return and will see everyone in May.
“Rock On The Range has always been a show we enjoy playing, and to be a part of the 10th year is particularly exciting for us, especially with a new album in tow,” Moreno said.
In addition to Deftones return to the stage, the festival also announced the lineup for the ROTR Rolling Rock Comedy Tent. The lineup includes Grammy nominated Jay Mohr, Big Jay Oakerson, Nate Bargatze, Craig Gass, Madison Malloy and Bethany Dwyer. The comedy tent will also feature many of the local comedians from the Columbus area.
For the first time, Rock On The Range is also hosting a craft beer village to showcase the regional tastes of the Midwest. No word yet on which breweries will be featured.
Rock On The Range takes place May 20-22 at MAPRFRE Stadium, the first soccer-specific stadium in the United States and home to the MLS club Columbus Crew SC. Tickets are available now at www.rockontherange.com.
