[dropcap]I[/dropcap]an Fraser Kilmister, better known as “Lemmy” has passed away at the age of 70. The Motörhead founder had just found out about a very aggressive cancer two days prior to his death while sitting at home, ultimately causing him to pass.

I had the privilege of running into Lemmy after working security at one of their shows. There is not a damn thing bad I can say about the man. He was so down to earth and an inspiration to not only myself, but plenty of other metal bands and musicians.

Motörhead as ultimately canceled remaining shows and unfortunately for all of us, this was probably it for the heavy metal giants. While in their span since 1975, they provided us with “Ace of Spades,” “No Sleep ‘Til Hammersmith,” and “Overkill.” This was not the way any band or their fans, would want them to finish such an amazing, long career, but Lemmy played until he could not do it any more.

Instead of sitting at home in solace and possibly saying that “heavy metal is officially dead” or some outrageous nonsense, do Lemmy and the guys in Motörhead a favor, you grab all of your Motörhead records and you play them as loud as you possibly can to support what they have accomplished all these years.
