[dropcap]C[/dropcap]omic Con International has announced their next set of special guests that will attend the 2015 convention. Every year the organization holds this major event in order to celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.
The most recent guests that have been added to the list are Franco Aureliani and Art Baltazar who are both writers and artists of the comic Tiny Titans and Itty Bitty Hellboy, and Steve Lieber who is the artist of Superior Foes of Spider-Man and Whiteout.
Other additional guests include writer and artist Jimmie Robinson who is known for his work on Five Weapons and Bomb Queen. Writer, Sara Ryan, who has worked on Bad Houses and Empress of the World will also be attending.
Some of the highlights that were a big hit at the 2014 event were Matthew McConaughey and Christopher Nolan’s surprise appearance for sci-fi film Interstellar, the teaser for the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice film, and DC Comics TV promotion of Gotham, The Flash and Constantine.
The convention will once again be held at the San Diego Convention Center and will run from Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12, 2015.
