[dropcap]M[/dropcap]any celebrities will join together with the St. Jude’s National Outreach Director, Marlo Thomas, to star in the 11th annual Thanks and Giving campaign. The Thanks and Giving Campaign, with the help of celebrities, media, and other companies band together every year in order to ask the public to donate to the cause. The money donated will help fund the hospital’s research and cancer treatments. St. Jude has helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since opening more than 50 years ago.
Some of the celebrities that will be participating in this year’s campaign include Michael Strahan, Daisy Fuentes, Jennfer Anniston, Sofia Vergara, Keith Urban and many more. Retired professional football player and TV host Michael expressed his thoughts on the campaign:
”Over the past several years I’ve met so many of the incredible children receiving treatment at St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” said Michael Strahan. “Their stories are inspiring and their positive attitudes are amazing. The research being done at St. Jude is so critically important, it benefits children across the country and families don’t have to pay for anything. I hope everyone will join me and support St. Jude in the fight against childhood cancer.”

Celebrities Keith Urban, Sabrina Soto, Daisy Fuentes and Olivia Holt have also designed products that will be sold online at the St. Jude Gift Shop. 100 percent of profits made will go to the campaign. Some of the items available for purchase are an ornament, iPhone case, and a charm necklace.
The national television spots will air on network and cable television channels, as well as online . In addition, movie trailers starring celebrity friends with appear in theaters nationwide and on American Airlines and Delta Air Lines flights. All of the spots, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, will be available online in late November.
