The partnership of Insomniac with Interscope Geffen A&M was announced today, with the of creation Insomniac Records.
This new duo looks to combine music business knowledge of Interscope with the over 20 years of expertise Insomniac has producing some of the largest dance music events in the world.
“Interscope and Insomniac formed Insomniac Records because we saw the need for a label that fosters the unique talents of dance music artists while also giving them a powerful platform to share their music with fans around the world,” said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac. “The Interscope team has an unparalleled track record of success and I believe that with our combined efforts, Insomniac Records is going to launch the careers of undiscovered artists while also attracting established producers allowing them to create music that the fans will love.”

Insomniac Records is the first official EDM Label at Interscope, and will be home to many of the future EDM acts at Interscope.
More than 1 million fans attended Insomniac’s events in 2013, including club shows, concerts and large-scale music festivals like the largest electronic music festival in the world.
The first artist to be signed to the new label will be Russian-born Producer/DJ “Arty”. The artist shared a teaser of his single “Up All Night” on his SoundCloud today, featuring Angel Taylor. with promise of a full-length album later this year.
Arty has been a longtime supporter and performer at Insomniac events including the premier Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas.
