MARCH_MADNESS_2013Were your brackets completely shattered following the second and third round games of the NCAA Tournament? Harvard, Florida Gulf Coast and other schools upset big power houses in matchups that many thought would go the other way. When Harvard won, ESPN sent a text alert that said only 5.6% of 8.5 million brackets on their website had Harvard upsetting New Mexico the way they did.

And FGCU has been dubbed “Dunk City.”

With thist being said, we move on to the Sweet Sixteen beginning today. The matchups are:

1 Louisville vs 12 Oregon

3 Michigan State vs 2 Duke

9 Wichita State vs 13 La Salle

6 Arizona vs. 2 Ohio State

2 Miami vs 3 Marquette

1 Indiana vs 4 Syracuse

3 Florida vs 15 Florida Gulf Coast

1 Kansas vs 4 Michigan

Three of the four top seeded teams are still playing for a championship. The Pit’s Final Four outlook is still intact, with Indiana, Louisville, Ohio State and Florida all making it. Florida has been picked over Ohio State to win it all.

With that being said, the most interesting game will be the Florida matchup against FGCU. Despite being the more dominate team, FGCU has been on a roll and could cause issues for the Gators.

Many of the other games don’t pose as interesting of scenarios, but could further cause bracket implosions. What do your brackets look like heading into the Sweet Sixteen matchups?
