This fall, Detroit native Flint Eastwood (Jax Anderson) will be touring on PVRIS’s headlining tour alongside Lights.

Anderson just wrapped up an extremely successful summer that included sets at festivals such as SXSW and Lollapalooza. She was also performed a set at Bonnaroo. She was the youngest artist invited to participate in  “Superjam” to perform “Get Up Offa That Thing” by James Brown. In addition, she performed with Chance the Rapper as back up vocals during his performance of “Hey Ya”.

Anderson broke into the scene with her debut EP Broke Royalty via Neon Gold Records this past April. The EP features her single “Queen”. The offers an empowering feeling that captures the confidence and sound that Anderson’s music embodies.

The album also includes “Rewind”. The track features GRiZ, an electronic artist who is also from Detroit.

Anderson states “Rewind is about the innocence of youth. When you’re young, like little kid young, you have such an honest and untainted perspective on life. It’s a beautiful thing. It’s a time when love is just love, no labels or expectations, and all you care about is having fun and living life to the fullest.”

Broke Royalty introduces Anderson as a talented artist. Her strong vocals combined with the electronic sound are a unique experience. Listeners are captivated by her sound.
