COA 2017: Ernie C of Body Count talks race, music and more

Body Count guitarist Ernie C joined The Pit Media's Evan J. Thomas before the band hit the stage Saturday to speak about a little bit of everything....

The second year of Chicago Open Air has come and gone, and it was one of the rowdiest weekends of the year. The Pit Media was onsite all weekend conducting interviews, shooting performances and drinking a few beers.

Saturday, we had the honor to sit down with Body Count guitarist Ernie C before the band’s set on the Blackcraft Stage. One of two remaining original members in the band – Ice-T being the other – Ernie C spoke about race relations in America and how social media has impacted racism, his growth and journey through music and much more.

Check out photos of Body Count’s performance below, and stick with The Pit Media as we release more of our content from Chicago Open Air 2017!
