September of 2016, metal-core band hailing from Buffalo, New York, Every Time I Die successfully released their 8th LP “Low Teens” under Epitaph Records. This winter, the band has celebrated their release with the Low Teens Tour featuring the bands Knocked Loose, Harms Way and Eternal Sleep.

The Detroit date of the tour completely sold out The Magic Stick. Leaving little to no wiggle room in the venue, it did not stop the crowd from containing one of the most intense pits. The energy from the bands and the crowd never seemed to stop.

Eternal Sleep is a metal band from Pittsburgh, who just released their debut LP “The Emptiness Of.” Vocalist Joseph Sanderson hyped the crowd up, starting the night out with a bang. Chicago’s hardcore band, Harms Way, followed suit, opening with “Easy My Mind” and following with fan favorites “Law of the Land” and closing with “Breeding Grounds”.

Knocked Loose brought out the rowdiest crowd, inviting fans to stage dive, mosh, circle pit, and everything in between. Their set contained a majority of songs from their latest LP “Laugh Tracks.” The band opened with “Oblivions Peak”, following with infamous “Counting Worms” and ending with fan favorite “Deadringer.”

Every Time I Die took the stage for their 22 song set, opening with “Glitches”. Guitarist Jordan Buckley constantly stage diving with his guitar. Vocalist Keith Buckley never seemed to miss sharing his mic with the crowd as they sang back “Wanderlust” from their debut LP “New Junk Aesthetic” along with songs from Low Teens. The band had a three song encore including “Fear and Trembling,” “Moor” and “Awful Lot.”
