Swedish Indie pop band Peter Bjorn & John have returned to the music scene with their newest single High Up (Take Me To The Top).
The band is best known for their hit 2006 single Young Folks, which featured the vocals of Victoria Bergsman, and other popular songs including Writer’s Block and It Don’t Move Me.
The group’s last album Gimme Some was released in 2011. During their four year hiatus they became founding members of the Swedish artist collective and record label INGRID. Since the label’s debut in 2012, it has produced numerous albums and singles.
High Up (Take Me To The Top) is similar to the sound of their previous singles and features a pop melody with a electronic sound. The single appears on the follow-up INGRID compilation album titled, INGRID Volym 2.
The band also made a recent announcement over social media that they are currently in the studio working on their seventh album.
