Andy Black starts his world tour on May 10th.

Andy Black, a solo project from Black Veil Bride’s frontman Andy Biersack, takes a wild turn from the metalcore road of BVB, but rather a right fork turn to a more of a pop-rock road.

The debut single “We Don’t Have to Dance” earlier this year has gotten a rave response from the plethora of fans that have been behind him since the BVB debut in 2010.

The Shadow Side features Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio, Blink 182), who is the one driving force in Andy’s songwriting inspiration and from his favorite bands of all time, on the second single “Stay Alive” and guest spots from other pop/punk friends Ashton Irwin (5 Seconds of Summer), Joel Madden (Good Charlotte), Rian Dawson (All Time Low), Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), and was produced by John Feldmann (Panic! At the Disco).

The Andy Black project has been in the works since the last BVB release in 2014 with the release of the single “They Don’t Need to Understand”, the Cincinnati native belts out cleaner vocals and a more dramatic sound that he (Andy) felt better to do as side project rather than change the sound of BVB, which fans have come to love.

The new project is set to drop May 6 and can be pre-ordered on iTunes or through andyblackmusic.com and his world tour is set to kick off on May 10th in the UK and coming around to US dates starting May 23rd with special guest Creeper.
