The Music Blitz: Mike McClinton of McClinton

Mike McClinton calls in to The Pit to discuss playing legendary venues like the Whisky A Go Go, battling cancer and living the dream....

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ll bands have their ups and downs, and McClinton is no different.

The New Jersey-based rock band is on the road with RED and Adelita’s Way in the early going’s of this summer before hitting the road with Art of Dying in July. Playing legendary venues like the Whisky A Go Go and the Knitting Factory have been dreams come true for the guys in McClinton, but it was a rocky road to achieving those goals.

Vocalist Mike McClinton called in to The Music Blitz hours before Tuesday’s show at the Whisky in West Hollywood. Through crappy tour and promotion managers, battling cancer and losing band members, Mike and McClinton have pushed forward and are working towards bigger and better things.
