The film stars Eddie Redmayne, who won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, and Felicity Jones, who recieved an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

The cast also includes Charlie Cox, Emily Watson, Simon McBurney, Christian McKay, and David Thewlis featured in supporting roles.

The Theory of Everything is directed by Academy Award winner James Marsh, who is also known for directing the British documentary film, Man on Wire.

The film was adapted by Anthony McCarten from the memoir titled, Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking.

The biographical film follows the life of Stephen Hawking  who receives an serious medical diagnosis at the age of twenty-one. Stephen, along with his wife Jane, embarks on a journey that will lead to groundbreaking results.

Together, they will work against the odds, to break new ground in medicine and science, all while racing against time.

Stephen and Jane’s story will be released to Digital HD February 10, 2015 and Blu-ray Combo Pack Both Blue-ray and the DVD come with special features including deleted scenes, a behind the scenes special: Becoming the Hawkings, and film commentary by director James Marsh. 

The film will also be available for On Demand on February 17, 2015.
